oh forgot to say FIREFLY WAS SO-0O0O-O0O0O0OO GOOD!!!!!!!!

the fitz and the tantrums set was essential to pumping up the crowd for the rest of the night. they sung their hearts out and are such talented musicians. my only qualm was that their set was pretty similar to last time i saw them. o well~ like last time, it was super fun

saw black keys for the first time and i give em a 10 outta 10. dan’s voice was spot on and they played the perfect mix to showcase all of my weirdo dance moves. i heard some people complaining that they brought out additional musicians to accompany them on some of their songs, but in my opinion, it really shows how far they’ve come. just cuz they started as two friends playing music, doesn’t mean they gotta restrict themselves to that! i really enjoyed the added bass and keyboard and love the fact that they are talented enough to always switch it up while always stickin true to their roots. full band, or just the 2 of them..these boys fuckin rock hard

it was my third time seeing the flaming lips and as always, they play to win. wayne coyne is an inspiration. confetti, balloons, lasers, giant gerbil ball and color smoke machines. the guy loves what he does and it’s SO FUN to watch and be a part of.

cold war kids never really frequented my ipod, but after a kickass, high energy performance, i bet i’ll find myself jamming to them more often

i had kinda distanced myself from death cab since high school, but their performance was a blast. the only way you could tell ben gibbard was on dayquil was because he told us. so danceable and fun. i feel lucky that i got to see them before they go on their recently announced hiatus

now that firefly has passed, i’ve been feeling anxious since i don’t have another concert lined up.

gonna do my best to fix that ASAP
